General terms and conditions
- Scope of application
- These terms and conditions apply to all business relationships between Ing. Janka Matyašovská, w.a., and users and companies for products of the above company that arise upon an order via the e-shop www.igelgeschenke.com.
- The terms and conditions apply in the version in effect in the time of the contract conclusion.
- Ordering goods and contract conclusion
- By clicking the “Order” button, you confirm the correctness of the given information and the contract arises.
- For the binding order to be valid it is necessary that you give all the required information and agree to these terms and conditions.
- Our automatic reply is only a confirmation about the order intake. The order itself will be confirmed by a separate e-mail from the provider including payment information.
- Shipping costs and payment
- The goods to Austria and Germany are shipped as an insured package via a courier service or Austrian/German post. Goods to Switzerland is due to the customs duty shipped exclusively via post. The shipping costs are:
- courier servies to Austria: 11,40€ (incl. VAT + insurance)
- Austrian post (shipping address in Austria): 8,52€ (incl. VAT + insurance)
- courier service to Germany: 15,84€ (incl. VAT + insurance)
- German post (shipping address in Germany): 9,84€ (incl. VAT + insurance)
- to Switzerland 33,60€

- The payment must be made in advance via a transfer to the bank account of the seller. Together with the binding confirmation of order you receive the information necessary for the payment. After the payment has been credited to the seller’s account, the goods will be immediately shipped.
- All prices include the statutory VAT. If you are an entrepreneur and you state a valid VAT-number, please pay only the amount excluding VAT and pay the tax on the goods in your country. The invoice will be issued accordingly.
- If the delivery address is in Switzerland, please pay only the amount excluding VAT and you will be asked to pay the tax and customs in Switzerland. The invoice will be issued accordingly.
- Warranty and complaints
- The statutory warranty period of 24 months applies. The period starts at the reception of the goods by the customer.
- The warranty does not apply for natural wear marks of the goods and for damages that occurred due to improper or ruthless usage of the goods.
- The seller takes responsibility for defects of the goods and the buyer is, in case there are any, obligated to complain immediately. The buyer is moreover obligated to check the goods immediately after receiving it and inform the seller of any defects or incompleteness. If he doesn’t do so, the delivery will be considered complete and without defects.
- The complaint is to be made in writing, namely per e-mail including the following information: the identification of the buyer (name and the full address), contact data of the buyer, order number, name of the goods and a description of the defect. Information about the preferred solution to the complaint might be included, too.
- If not agreed otherwise, the buyer is obliged to send the defected goods to the seller as a registered and insured package.
- Right of cancellation
- You have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days without giving reasons in writing (e.g. letter, fax, e-mail). The period starts on the day of receiving the goods (in case of repeated delivery of goods of the same kind upon the first partial delivery). The cancellation is to be addressed to:

- In case of a valid cancellation, the payments or goods received by both parties are to be restored and, if necessary, derived profits are to be returned. You are obligated to provide compensation for goods that you are not able to or are only partially able to restore. You are not obliged to provide compensation for deterioration or usage of the goods. The obligations to restore the payments or goods must be fulfilled within 30 days. This period starts upon sending the goods or the cancellation for you, it starts upon receiving the goods or the cancellation for us.
- Settlement of disputes
- According to the European ODR-regulation (Online dispute resolution), companies that sell goods to consumers online are obligated to link an ODR-platform on their website. This platform allows the consumer to settle disputes about their online orders out-of-court. The relevant website is http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. - Data protection notice
- The information about your order including the address will only be stored and used for order processing.
- All data is used in accordance with the regulations of the European union and in accordance with the law Nr. 18/2018 Z.z. of Slovak republic on data protection.
