The shaped bowl is made of linden wood, the surface has been treated with hard wax oil with attest for food and toys. The product is intended for serving e.g. snacks, but it can also help to catch the attention of a child that does not want to eat. The maintenance is done with a dry towel, or one can use a slightly moistened towel and then swipe the bowl dry. It is in no case suitable for the dishwasher or a microwave (using it in these devices would lead to a deformation of the bowl). After a longer period of use, we advice to coat the bowl with mineral oil or a very thin layer of cooking oil to brighten it up.
